STITCH AND CHAT GROUP ARE COMPETITION WINNERS!

Nine members of our Stitch and Chat group recently took part in a quilt design competition - and won!

It's quite hard to share a quilt between nine people so the makers have decided to raffle it for Church funds instead.  Look out for the quilt in our churches over the coming weeks - tickets will be available at each church or from Stitch and Chat members - it will also be on display at November's Christmas Fair and Hundred Club coffee mornings until the draw on Saturday 16 December at St. Mary Magdalene's at 10.45am.  Tickets are only £2 each.

There's a lot going on in our parish and in the wider anglican church: to keep in touch with all our news please click the headings on the left.

In May 2017 our churches raised a total of £2372.05 from our house to house collections during Christian Aid Week. We are delighted to have exceeded last year's total especially in the present difficult financial climate.

On 25th June we said farewell to Karen Brady our Reader. After completing the Alpha Course 10 years ago Karen has blossomed in the Faith and was Ordained on 2nd July at Chester Cathedral. She left to take up a Curacy at St Michael & All Angels in Macclesfield. We wish Karen every success and much happiness in her new home and in her future ministry.
